Cleveland Yucks has been working hard for the last few years to develop a cohesive comedy community in Cleveland. We have gone from a few stand-ups doing open mics in places that sell Buffalo wings to a stable of about forty hard working amateur and semi-professional comics establishing venues, producing independent shows, and pushing Cleveland comedy to the forefront in that short time. We have developed a small but loyal audience that is growing exponentially. We are about to extend our reach to a much larger advertising base through traditional print media, promotional appearances and web marketing.

As you know, traditional and alternative print media in the area devotes very little space and effort to comedy. Advertising in these publications is expensive and without supporting content focus the audience reached by such advertising is dispersed among varied interests. Cleveland Yucks has developed a web presence that caters specifically to a comedy audience. We have the only comprehensive comedy show listing in the area, which includes not only the major comedy clubs but all independently produced and alternative venue shows. It also supplies a healthy dose of comedic material, interviews with local and nationally touring comics, and a lot of information for the aspiring comic.

Cleveland Yucks provides an extremely focused advertising opportunity for all things comedy and entertainment related. Comedy fans are a great target for restaurants, bookstores, record stores and other entertainment venues. We have developed a flexible and customizable advertising plan that should accommodate most needs. We are also very open to creative and unusual promotional ideas and can work with sponsorship and single event promotions.

We are on the ground floor of a very vibrant comedy revolution in Cleveland. Our little community building exercise has attracted interest nationally among clubs and comics.
