The BEST of BRUNSTUCKY Comedy Showcase.

Dates: 2/9, 2/16, 2/23, and 3/1. Eight openings each week. Top 2 advance to Best of show on 3/8. Top comic gets a paid spot on the 3/15 show.

Location: Arturos Bar and Grill at 1480 Pearl Road, Brunswick, OH

Showtimes: 8:00. Comics must arrive by 7:30 or risk losing their spot.

Fees: FREE sign-up for comics. FREE admission to shows for friends and family of the comics (except the 3/15 show).

Think of this as stage time with a shot at a paid gig. If you do not qualify to advance you may come back and perform on a following week if spots are available. What else are you doing on a Thursday night? At the very least you can get some stage time. I have all of the weekly closer spots filled by established comics known to all of you. I have not kept up with many of the locals to see who has grown and improved. Im also out of the loop with respect to the talented newcomers. If this room turns into a regular paid gig (those of you who know me, know Im not into running open mics at bars. My goal is to create a paying gig for comics) Im going to need local MCs and features. Im pretty comfortable with who our local headliners are. If we work together we can create a room in Brunswick that leads to more stage time and paying gigs for many on the local scene. Stage time! Hello stage time for comics.
