| I just finished three shows in New Castle Pa, at a new club called Stage 3. It is a fantastic room. The complex is an attempt by the State of Pa to reinvigorate The Town of New Castle. It is house in a brand new complex that use to be home of the first movie theatre that Warners Brothers ever opened. The owner was highly accessible constantly checking in to make sure we were being treated well. The Manager of both the Club and the manager of the bar were both checking in with us to make sure we had plenty to drink and eat. It was a great time and they all seemed very dedicated to making the room work. The stage itself was state of the art. The sounds system included two monitors on the stage and the room was laid out to maximize the comedy experience. They had a sound man completely dedicated to making the show work and They also had someone running a great lighting system. Loretta booked the shows and and If you want to contact her she said she would accept emails at funnyfarmdates@aol.com. If you are not familiar with Loretta she use to book the Funnyfarm and left for reasons I am not totally aware of but she said this room is her chance to get back to doing something she loves. I can't say enough about how great of a time I had there. The only negative was one that won't last long. The crowds were tentative and weren't really sure of how they were suppose to respond. They were very polite and seemed to be like the Country boy that for the first time had to traverse a revolving door. Wide eyed but willing to take the step. After the show they sure knew how to act as Jay and I went down to the bar called the Basin and interacted with the people in the show. We had a blast and want you all to know this is a definite must do on your comedy to do-list!
