Open Letter to the Heckler in the Balcony 8/19/2010 at Hilarities 4th Street Theater
NOTE: When this incident occurred I was near the end of my set and I didnt want to attack anyone in the crowd because there was a large number of corporate groups at the show on this night. I like this club and didnt want them to get complaints so I was pretty easy on him. The heckler had yelled out maybe two times during my set and I asked him to shut his trap because he was a real loudmouth I then promised everyone in the crowd I would post my real thoughts about this heckler on my website for all to enjoy.

Getting In Touch With Nature
Far from being in touch with nature, I find I don't know what to do when confronted with it. I had an up close and personal encounter with nature a few weeks ago when a spider dropped down directly in my line of sight as I was preparing to leave my apartment. I appreciated it's beauty for a moment, then lovingly wrapped the animal in a paper towel and flushed it down the toilet.

Committed Sex VS Uncommitted Sex...the real story
There is no longer the quickie in the hallway because you are not sure if the girl is going to like you the next day and you want to fit one more in. Instead it is because the chicken is on the grill for another 10 minutes and God dammit The Office is new tonight and if I have to choose between the two I might just hit the bathroom for a quick number 3 during a commercial break.

COMEDY IN THE NEWS

Cleveland Improv to move to new, larger space next to Shooters
For months, the fate of the Cleveland Improv comedy club has been no laughing matter. After plans were announced to put an aquarium into the ground floor of the Powerhouse complex where the comedy club was the first tenant after a renovation in 1989, there was worry that the Cleveland link in the national comedy chain would simply be dropped.

Louis C.K.: Escape to reality
Unlike his previous sitcom, the cancelled HBO series Lucky Louie, episodes of Louie unfold with a kind of loose, associative structure, often cutting between Louis (who plays himself) onstage at a comedy club and digressions into scenes that work like self-contained short films. Rather than follow a straight-ahead narrative, the show takes on the feel of an absurd trip through Louis angst-ridden mind. As such, its hard to say what its about exactly.

Dave Chappelle Deemed 'Safety Risk' on Private Jet
During the flight, we're told Dave "freaked out" and refused to put his seat belt on. Then -- according to sources -- Dave repeatedly walked into the cockpit, asking how much longer the flight would be, and started grabbing the pilot's arm.

Gallagher Is a Paranoid, Right-Wing, Watermelon-Smashing Maniac
"Hey, President Obama," he spits out the name like a mouthful of burning hair. "You ain't black. I don't care what you sayyou're a latte. You're half whole-milk. It could be goat milkyou could be a terrorist!" I am too busy losing my mind to catch the next joke, which is about Ted Kennedy's brain cancer. Aaaaand we're off.

The Creepiest Children's Books Ever
Growing up, we all had at least one book that affected our psyche - some in more positive ways than others. The right book at the right time can teach children a lot more than any advice an adult can impart. But then there's these. No only are these books creepy and/or hilarious to adults, but any kid who reads them is most likely in for a traumatizing treat.
